Welcome to Wildfire Church!
Hello! We are the Collins family.
By God’s grace, we are planning to plant a gospel-centered church in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago in 2028.
We are currently living in Austin, TX, and we will be moving to the city in the summer of 2027. We have three kids (Silas, Selah, and Sarit) and a fluffy golden retriever.
God put the vision in our hearts to plant a church at the end of 2024. We have a burden for Chicago and specifically Wicker Park, and we are praying for revival in Chicago that overflows to the nations.
Our Mission and Vision
God has placed Leviticus 6:12-13 as an anchor verse. We desire to be a people who seek the presence of God and multiply disciples and churches in the city and the nations. Revival starts in our hearts and then spreads to the world around us. We are praying for a spark in Wicker Park that leads to a wildfire in the city and into the nations.

Wildfire Church exists to lead people to the feet of Jesus, igniting personal revival that spreads through Chicago to the nations.

A fire that never goes out - from Wicker Park, through Chicago, to the nations.

Church in the Square began as a location of Park Community Church in 2016. After two years of gathering on Sundays, meeting in homes during the week, and serving our neighbors, the elders sensed God’s call for what’s known as “Church in the Square” to become a new and autonomous church. In September 2018, Church in the Square gathered for the first time at Monroe Elementary School (now Logan Square School) in Logan Square. Learn more at Church in the Square.
