Wildfire Church is planting in Wicker Park because the neighborhood represents a distinct convergence of need and opportunity. With roughly 25,000 residents in its core and more than 40% identifying as religiously unaffiliated, Wicker Park is home to a spiritually open population with little gospel-centered church presence rooted directly in the community. We believe this gap is an invitation: a place where authentic revival can take root and spread. Wicker Park serves both as a mission field in need of the gospel and as a mission base from which it multiplies outward. Planting in Wicker Park is the first spark of our broader calling: a fire that never goes out, compelling us toward planting 30 churches across the US and 30 across Europe over the next 30 years.
